GRIZZLY BEAR w/LA Philharmonic @ Walt Disney Concert Hall

Last night I went to see Grizzly Bear play at the Disney Concert Hall with the LA Philharmonic. It was absolutely incredible! The whole show was set up in a very intimate setting, and we had 5th row seats so that was great too. It was nice being able to see them play at a great place like the Disney Concert Hall and not having to worry about passing out from the heat (umm… Coachella). They played for about a little over an hour, playing songs off of Yellow House such as “Knife,” “Little Brother,” “Marla,” “Easier,” “On a Neck, On a Spit,” etc.

ANAMANAGUCHI

My friends are in a band called ANAMANAGUCHI and they are basically the best band ever. The band consists of 3 guys: Peter Berkman, Ary Warnaar, and James Devito (Pete and Ary are sophomores at NYU, James is a junior at NYU). They recently played the Blip Festival for the 2nd year in a row, which was a success for them. They have toured the UK already and consistently play shows in the NYC/Brooklyn area. This past summer they played a house show at Zach’s house which was a HUGE success- SO many people came, it was absolutely insane! If you are in New York, make sure to see Anamanaguchi. Trust me, it’s a show you definitely do not want to miss.
